Good pouch. Can you fit 2 m4 mags per pouch?, hmmm... I did get 2 to eventually fit, however they were stuck pretty good and It took alot of effort to get them out. So yeah, Id say 1 M4 mag per pouch is little more practical. I also got sig 55x mags to fit in them no problem.
