When I first received the mount I tried fixing it to my rail but something seemed to be stopping it. I flipped it over after a few frustrating tries and found that on one of the lips that grab onto the rail there was a very large deformity in the molding, I had to sand down the deformity using a fine tipped metal sander. Because of that deformity and all the sanding I had to do it doesn't sit completely right on the rail. Although the difference is minimal it is ever so slightly noticeable while looking through the aimpoint.
